May be the question was wrong..by doing the problem what he had mentioned the ans will be 9.

I think the question should be 25% discounted from the total price..then the ans will be D(33)

25 % off of 1200 = 1200*1/4 = 300
1200-300 =900
additional 75 discount
900-75 = 825
825/25= 33

part one of question 25 windows @ 25% off the total price 1200$
This means, out of a total price of 1200$, he got 25% off
Thus,1200-25*1200/100 = 900$ for 25 windows

if the builder receives additional 75$ for the purchase = 900-75= 825
825/25 = 33

Hence,D

Total cost of 25 windows= (75% of 1200)-75= 825

Cost of 1 window= 825/25 = 33 Ans

25% off

75% of 1200 = 900

Additional discount = 900 -75 = 825

825 / 25 = 33.

D is the best answer.
