given Mean = 27 , SD = 6

==> 2 times SD = 2*6 = 12 , we need internal which is 2times SD from mean = 27+12 = 39 ==> only option C

we can mark it here as only 1 option has number 39 , else we proceed as ( 27+12 , 27-12 ) ==> 39 and 15 will be the interval

"Two standard deviations from the mean" is not an interval. There are two values in this question that are two standard deviations from the mean: 15 and 39. If the question intends to describe the values that are within two standard deviations of the mean, the question is missing a preposition.
