or, B= 3A-10 -----(1). Ten years ago : B-10 = 1/2(C-10) ---(2) . Substituting B=3A-10 in equation (2) we get 3A -10-10 = 1/2(C-10). or, 3A-20 = 1/2(C-10). or, 6A-40 = C-10. or, 6A= C+30. or A = C/6+5. Ans: A
