As per the question:

\(4x = 4y - 6\)

\(6 = 4y - 4x\)

\(6 = 4(y-x)\)

\(y - x = 6/4\)

\(y - x = 3/2\)

The correct answer is D

A. \(-24\)

B. \(-\frac{3}{2}\)

C. \(-\frac{2}{3}\)

D. \(\frac{3}{2}\)

E. \(24\)

We can create the equation:

4y - 6 = 4x

2y - 3 = 2x

2y - 2x = 3

y - x = 3/2

D. \(\frac{3}{2}\)

E. \(24\)

4x = 4y - 6
Or, -4y + 4x = - 6
Or, -4(y-x) = - 6 [factored out 4]
Or, y -x = 6/4 = 3/2
