If x equals 25 percent of a number, then 125 percent of the number is

A. \(\frac{x}{1.25}\)

B. \(\frac{x}{4}\)

C. \(1.25x\)

D. \(4x\)

E. \(5x\)

x= 25% of n = \(\frac{n}{4}\)
125% of \(n = \frac{5}{4} n = 5 (\frac{n}{4}) = 5x\)

D. \(4x\)

Let he number be y
--> x = 25/100*y = y/4
--> y = 4x

125% of y = 125/100*y = 5/4*4x = 5x

IMO Option E

Pls Hit kudos if you like the solution
