So, second average and number would be 13 and 27 respectively.
26×12.5 + X = 13×27
X = 351-325= 26

Average weight of 26 dogs is increased by 1/2 kg, so total increase in weight is 26 x 1/2 = 13 kg.
Weight of new dog = new average weight + increased weight = 13 + 13 = 26 kg
C is correct.
