Asked: What is the sum of all the odd integers between 100 and 302?

This is an arithmetic progression with: -
a = 101
d =2
l = 301
n = (301 - 101)/2 +1= 101

Sum = n/2 (l+a) = 101/2 * (301 + 101) = 101 /2 * 402 = 101 * 201 = 20301

We use the formula: sum = average x quantity to calculate the sum of the odd integers between 100 and 302:

(101 + 301)/2 x [(301 - 101)/2 + 1]

402/2 x (200/2 + 1) =201 x 101 = 20,301

where n is [(301-101)/2 +1]=101
a=101
d=2
