Understood the concept, Had just 1 question
What is the relevance of the coloured part

I just saw this thread and was about to post about that exact issue! When the question asks us "how many more marks does the arts student need to obtain compared to the science student in order to qualify?", the question is ambiguous, but the answer is certainly not "132", the OA here. As worded, the question could either mean "how many more marks does the generic art student need than the generic science student", which either doesn't make sense or would have a negative answer here (you need fewer marks to pass art than to pass science in this question), or it could mean "comparing the two specific students in this question, how many more additional marks must the art student obtain than the science student", and since the art student needs 132 extra marks, and the science student needs 80 additional marks, the answer would be 132 - 80 = 52. That's really the only reasonable way to interpret the question as it's worded.

If the OA is meant to be 132 here, the phrase you highlighted in blue needs to be deleted from the question -- the question then isn't comparing the art student to the science student, but instead is comparing how many marks the art student has to how many the art student needs.
