We need to determine
- • The value of the number
Approach and Working out
As a reduction by 30 results in 80% of the number, we can say that 20% of the number is equal to 30.
- • Hence, 20% of the number = 30
Or, the value of the number = 30/0.20 = 150
Thus, option A is the correct answer.
