Q. At XYZ High School there are 400 students in 12th class. 270 do Computer Science, 300 do English and 50 do Business studies. All those doing Computer Science do English, 20 take Computer Science and Business studies and 35 take English and Business studies. All those doing Computer Science do English, 20 take Computer Science and Business studies and 35 take English and Business studies. Find the number of students who are doing either English or Business studies but not Computer Science.

Solution:
T=400
C=270, E=300 & B=50
All those doing Computer Science do English i.e. all the computer students are inside english, so C w/o E = 300-270=30 (this can have Business students also but not compute students)
35 take English and Business studies, so only Business=50-35=15
So the number of students who are doing either English or Business studies but not Computer Science = 30+15=45

I understand how the solution above was calculated, but it doesn't seem to add up when looking at the premise of the problem.
Given:
CS + B = 20
E + B = 35
Derived:
B only = 50 - 35 = 15
The problem says there are 50 total who study business. 20 + 35 + 15 = 70 study business. Am I missing something or does the problem need to be revised?
Also how do we know that there aren't people taking all three?
