Approach and Working out
Let us assume that,
- • The incomes of A and B are 5x and 8x respectively
• The expenditures of A and B are 11y and 10y respectively
Savings of
- • A: 5x – 11y = 7900
• B: 8x – 10y = 21000
Solving the equations, we get: x = 4000, and y = 1100.
Hence, incomes of
- • A = 5 x 4000 = 20000
• B = 8 x 4000 = 32000
Thus, option C is the correct answer.
