Satish buys Wheat at Rs. 10 per kg and puts a price tag on it so as to earn a profit of 30%. However, his faulty balance shows 1 kg when it is actually 700 gm. What is his actual profit percent ?

A. 500/7%
B. 600/7%
C. 70%
D. 300/7%
E. 450/7%
CP = 10

He will sell it for Rs.13.
However, due to faulty balance, he actually spends Rs.7 and saves Rs.6 (3 due to faulty balance and 3 due to greater selling price)

= (6/7)*100

An easy to understand explanation if someone needs it:

Cost Price of the wheat is Rs.10/kg
Target Selling Price of the wheat is Rs.13/kg

But he's actually selling it for Rs.13/0.7kg (since the scale incorrectly shows 1kg for 700gm)

Therefore, easily calculate profit percentage by {((Actual SP)-(Actual CP))/Actual CP}*100

[{(13/0.7)-10)}/10]*100 = 600/7%
