Danny went on a shopping spree. He bought h hats and s shirts. The number of shirts he bought was 15 greater than the number of hats. Which of the following expresses this relationship?

A) h > 15s
B) h > s + 15
C) h > s – 15
D) h = s – 15
E) h = s + 15

Since the number of shirts he bought was 15 greater than the number of hats:

s = h + 15, or s - 15 = h

Answer: D
