So one can purchase round figure 2 stamps per 1$
Therefore, 2*2,313,716.10 stamps can be purchased out of the $2,313,716.10
=> 2*2,313,716.10 => 4,627,432 is the minimum no.of stamps.
Since we are spending only 82 cents out of 1$ the stamps has to be more than 4,627,432
And the nearest amount in options is D. In 10 million units = 5,643,210
Answer is D

Divide 231371610 by 41....
The first digit of the quotient will narrow it down to either 1 or 2 options at max. No need to perform actual calculation.
The quotient starts with 5..only two options A and D
It will end with 0 as the dividend contains a 0.
