A. 2
B. 3
C. 4
D. 5
E. 6

2t=8, 3s+t=13

t=4, Substitute this in the second equation

3s+4 = 13
3s=9
s=3

option b.

2t = 8 and 3s + t =13

=> 2 * (3s + t = 13): 6s + 2t = 26

=> 6s + 8 = 26

=> 6s = 18

=> s = 3
