Mustafa has invented a new dance in which he moves 3 steps forward for every 4 steps he moves back. If the dance requires 49 steps in total, how many steps forward has Mustafa taken at the completion of the dance?

(A) 7
(B) 21
(C) 28
(D) 30
(E) 32
\(\frac{3}{(3+7)}*49 = 21\) , Answer must be (B)

For every 3 forward steps (F), there are 4 backward steps (B).
So, F/B = 3/4

And F + B = 49

So, F + 4F/3 = 49
F= 21
