Asked: Find the number of degrees in the sum of the interior angles of a hexagon.

Sum of interior degrees on a regular polygon = 180 n - 360 = 180 (n-2); where n is sides of a polygon.
Hexagon has 6 sides
Sum of the interior angles of a hexagon = 180 (6-2) = 180 *4 = 720

Find the number of degrees in the sum of the interior angles of a hexagon.

(A) 360
(B) 540
(C) 720
(D) 900
(E) 1080

The sum of the interior angles of a polygon \(=180(n-2); n\) is the number of sides of the polygon.

So, \(180(6-2)=180*4=720\)

The answer is \(C\)
