B as 45:45:90 triangle
1:1:root2
x:x:xroot2
X = 7* root2/2
(7*root2)/2 * root2 = (7*2/2)
The 2’s cancel out and you are left with 7.

I thought the same thing but later on figured out the maths.
It works fine with option b

let us solve through Pythagoras theorem
two equal side =x hypotenuse=7
49=2x^2
49/2=x^2
7/root2=x
no option in the question
or
solve through
x:x:xroot2
xroot2 =7
x=7/root2
no option again
