cant x be equal to +- 5 . If we remove square root from x ?

cant x be equal to +- 5 . If we remove square root from x ?
­Squaring \(\sqrt{x} = 25\) gives x = 25^2, so no, x cannot be 5 or -5. If it were \(x = \sqrt{25}\), then x would be equal to 5 only because square roots cannot give negative results.­
