=>1125/4275 = 6/x
=> 5/18 = 6/x
=> x = (18*6)/5
=> x = 22.8

We have the price of 11.25 m of rod = 42.75.
We need to find the price of 6m of rod.
As we can see, 6 is 0.4 m longer than half of 11.25. So if you are running out of time just divide 42.75 by 2 and choose the option with a nearby greater value.
Also if we estimate it as 6/11*44 we get 24 hence the value should be less than 24 and only one option satisfy these two conditions.
42.75/2 ~21. and nearby greater values are 22.8.
But if the options are close enough, we might need to go through this calculation.
Price of 6 m rod = 6/11.25*42.75 = 22.8
Answer : A
