Why can this question not be solved using the weighted harmonic mean?
My understanding is the harmonic mean can be used to calculate the average speed of a trip made of segments with different distances and different rates

\(\frac{5}{\frac{3}{50}+\frac{2}{40}}=\frac{5}{\frac{12}{200}+\frac{10}{200}}=\frac{5}{\frac{22}{200}}=\frac{5·200}{22}=45.45454545\)
