4W take twice the time of 6M so 8W=6M=16C (since 1W=2C)
We need to find out in how many days (12M+12W+8c) can do the job. Converting W and C to M, we have:
12W=(6/8)*12M=9M
8C=4W=3M

12M+12W+8C=12M+9M+3M=24M. We know that 24M can do the job in 1 day.

Easier way to do this.

Rate of 1 Man = 24
Rate of 6 men = 24/6 = 4 days ---- eq. 1
Rate of 12 men = 24/12 = 2 days ------ eq 2

Time taken by 4 women = 2* time of 6 men = 2*4 = 8 days
Time by 1 woman = 8*4 = 32days(remember its nverse relation & not unitary method) (using eq 1)
Time by 12 women = 32/12 = 8/3 days -------eq 3

Each woman = 2 times faster than a child i.e rate of 1 woman = 2 times rate of a child or simply put-
Time taken by 1 child is 2* time taken by 1woman
Time by 1 child = 2*32 = 64 days
Time by 8 children = 64/8 = 8 days

Remember here we have time for 12W, 12M & 8C to complete the whole work. Now we need to find out their respective rates

Rate of 12M = 1/2
Rate of 12W = 3/8
Rate of 8 C = 1/8

Combined Rate = 1
Time for completion = 1/1 = 1

Answer A. Cheers
