A car travels at a constant rate of 20 meters per second. How many kilometers does it travel in 10 minutes? (1 kilometer = 1,000 meters)

A. 5

B. 12

C. 15

D. 20

E. 25

We need value in km and minutes unit.

Time to convert.

1 sec = 20m

60 sec (1 min) = 60*20m = 1200m

10 mins = 1200*10 = 12000m

Since 1000m = 1km

12000/1000 = 12km

answer option B
