Distance = 4 miles
Time = 2 hours
Speed= 4/2 = 2miles per hour
From B----->C
Speed = Half of original speed i.e 1 mile per hour
Distance = 6 Miles
Thus time will be 6/1 = 6 hours

Solution:
Jemma’s speed from buoy A to buoy B is 4/2 = 2 mph. Since her speed is halved when she swims to buoy C, her speed is 1 mph. Lastly, since buoy C is 6 miles away, it takes her 6/1 = 6 hours to reach buoy C.
