An amount of $735 was divided between A, B and C.
If each of them had received $25 less, the total would have been = 735 - 75 = $660
Ratio now = 1:3:2
Share of C now
= [2/(1+3+2)] * 660 = $220
Actual contribution of C = 220+25 = $245

Let the ratios after reducing $25 of a, b and c be x, 3x and 2x respectively.
Now, x + 3x + 2x + 25 + 25 + 25 = 735
6x + 75 = 735
6x = 660
x = 110
So, C gets 2 * 110 = 220
But, remember that we had taken the ratio after reducing $25, So, C gets 220 + 25 = 245(D)
PS: It would have been an awesome trap question if option B was $220 instead of $200.
