Price of 12 pen is 10
So, price of 1 pen is 10/12
Selling price of 100 pen is 120
So, selling price of 1 pen is 12/10
So, profit per pen \(\frac{12}{10}-\frac{10}{12}=\frac{11}{30}\)
Now, 11/30 what percentage of 10/12= \(\frac{11}{30}×\frac{12}{10}×100\)=44%
So, answer is B

For-profit percent, we need S.P. and C.P. with a condition of equal entities.
C.P. = Tk 10 = 12 pens
S.P. = Tk 120 = 100 pens
=> S.P.(1 pen) = \(\frac{120}{100} = \frac{12}{10} = 1.2\)
=> S.P.(12 pens) = 1.2 * 12 = 14.4
=> Profit: S.P. - C.P. = 14.4 - 10 = 4.4
=> Profit percent = \(\frac{Profit}{C.P.} * 100 = \frac{4.4 }{ 10} * 100 = 44%\)
