Total colors: 6

At least one stripe out of the following colors: pink, purple, or orange

For first strip: \(^3{C_1}\) * remaining two stripes from the remaining 3 colors \(^3{C_2} = 3 * 3 = 9\)

For first and second strip: \(^3{C_2}\) * remaining two stripes from the remaining 3 colors \(^3{C_1} = 3 * 3 = 9\)

For third strip: \(^3{C_3} = 1\)

Total: 9 + 9 + 1 = 19

There are a total of 6 colors.

The total number of combinations of choosing 3 of 6 is 6C3 = 20

Number of combinations without pink, purple or orange: 3C3 = 1

So the answer is: 20 - 1 = 19

Answer D
