we get
37.33 = 37 1/3

Average speed = (total travel distance)/(total travel time)
\(= \frac{140 miles + 140 miles }{4 hours + 3.5 hours}\)
\(= \frac{280}{7.5}\)
\(= \frac{560}{15}\) I multiplied numerator and denominator by 2 to get an easier fraction to work with
\(= 37\frac{5}{15}\)
\(= 37\frac{1}{3}\) miles per hour
Answer: B
