Solution :
We are given,
The price of the watch is reduced by 10%
Let the original price of the watch be x.
Then, the new price after 10% reduction
= \( x - 10\)% \(of x\)
= \(x - \frac{10}{100}\)\(* x\)
=\( \frac{9x}{10}\)
= 0.9x
Difference between the original and the new price
= \(x - \frac{9x}{10}\)
= \(\frac{x}{10}\)
= 0.1x
Therefore, percentage by the new price to be increased = \(\frac{0.1x}{0.9x}*100\) = \( \frac{1}{9}*100 \) = \(11.11\)%
Hence, the correct answer is Option A.

Let initial price = 100
Reduced price = \(100 * \frac{90 }{ 100} = 90\)
Difference : 100 - 90 = 10
To restore to initial value: \(\frac{10 }{ 90} * 100 = 11.1%\) increase
