Based on the figure above option (C) should be the answer. Because in the figure above y-intercept and x-intercept of line L seems to be equally distanced from the origin. Among B & C, option C is the only one which fetches us the same:

To find y-intercept, x will be 0, hence: y = -6
To find x-intercept, y will be 0, hence: x = 6

Whereas in case of option B: y = 4x - 4

To find y-intercept, x will be 0, hence: y = -4
To find x-intercept, y will be 0, hence: x = 1

which doesn't seem to be the case here. Hence, option C.

The given line has a positive slope and a negative y- intercept. So, only B and C remain.

C is a better option that goes with the given figure.

Answer C

I do not understand why we cant have B as option?
B equation represents +ve slope too, and no where in the question values of X/Y are mentioned.

Experts please help.
