If P(rain) = 0.3, then P(NO rain) = 1 - 0.3 = 0.7
If P(quiz) = 0.2, then P(NO quiz) = 1 - 0.2 = 0.8
So, P(neither rain nor quiz) = P(NO rain AND NO quiz)
= P(NO rain) x P(NO quiz)
= 0.7 x 0.8
= 0.56
