Consider set X = (multiples of 6 until 12) = (6,..........,72)
Since it is evenly spaced, Mean(p) = \(\frac{78}{6}\) = 39

Median of X(P) = \(\frac{(7 + 8) item}{ 2}\) = 45

So, the difference P -p = 45 -39 = 6

Answer: C

Hey Sloth45,
If it's an evenly spaced set: Mean = Median. So, difference = 0
I think you have made a typo while finding the median of X. It should be (6th+7th)/2

Hi Showmeyaa,
I completely forgot that Mean equals median in an evenly spaced data and rushed to solve the problem. I made a rookie mistake on the way.

Thank you very much for correcting me!
