From \(x + y − 8 =0\) & \(x − y = 0\)we can see that the slopes are reciprocal, so one is Base and the other must be Altitude (lets not calculate which is base & which is altitude)
We know that vertex opposite to the Hypotenuse will be formed where the Base and Hypotenuse meets....
Now solve -
\(x + y - 8 = x - y\)
Or, \(2y = 8\)
So, \(y = 4\) & \(x = 4\) , Answer must be (C)
