Profit=Rev-cost
cost= fixed+ variable
Revenue= quantity*price

Profit = [(selling price - cost)units solid]-Fixed costs

Profit=150000

selling price = $

cost = 10

fixed costs=200000

units sold - 50000

150000 = ($-10)50000-200000

350000 = ($-10)50000

7=$-10

A local farmer grows wheat on land he rents for a fixed cost of $200,000 per year. The variable cost of growing one bushel of wheat is $10. In a certain year, the farmer grows and sells 50,000 bushels of wheat and makes a profit of $150,000, after paying the fixed cost to rent the land. If every bushel sold of the same price, what was the selling price, in dollars, of the bushel of wheat?
