Four identical frat boys can drink a certain keg of beer in six hours. How many additional frat boys would be needed to drink the same keg of beer in four hours?

(A) \(\frac{4}{3} \)
(B) 2
(C) 4
(D) 6
(E) 8

Total work = 4 frat boys * 6 hours = 24 frat-boy-hours (that’s the total “units” of work).

If they need to finish in 4 hours, then required number of frat boys = 24/4 = 6.

Additional frat boys = 6 - 4 = 2.

Answer: B.
