It is easy when a question says increased by an amount(addition) or a factor(multiplication).
How do we answer this question? Is it by glancing at the answer choices or is there something that I missed?

Translate 0.75 of 1 percent as \(0.75 * \frac{1}{100}\) => \(\frac{3}{4} * \frac{1}{100}\) = \(\frac{3}{400}\)

Answer D.
