As both groups have an equal amount of people, first arrange either the French or the Ukrainians in a circular arrangement and then arrange the others as if they were sitting in a row (this essentially fills the gaps created when arranging the first group in a circle). Multiplying these two numbers together will yield the answer.
The formula for a circular arrangement is \(P_n = ( n − 1 )!\)
Arrangement in a row is \(n!\)
Either French or Ukrainians to be seated in a circle: \((7-1)! = 6!\)
Placing the other group in the spaces between: \(7!\)
\(6!*7!\)
