My solution is too long...is there anyone with a faster solution please?
Step 1: Find xA, yA
2x+y=9
x-2y=-3
=>
y=9-2x
y=1/2x+3/2
=> 9-2x=1/2x+3/2 => x=3 => y=3 => A(3,3)
Step 2: Find xB, yB
x+y=-4 => y=-x-4*
Slope AB=1.5=3/2
We have slope = (yB-yA)/(xB-xA)=3/2
=>(yB-3)/(xB-3)=3/2**
From * & ** => (-xB-4-3)/(xB-3)=3/2 => B(-1,5)
Step 3: Find slope through B and P
B(-1,5)
P(5,1)
Slope BP = (1+5)/(5-1)=2/3
Step 1: Find xA, yA
2x+y=9
x-2y=-3
=>
y=9-2x
y=1/2x+3/2
=> 9-2x=1/2x+3/2 => x=3 => y=3 => A(3,3)
Step 2: Find xB, yB
x+y=-4 => y=-x-4*
