Area of square picture = 25
Hence length of a side of the picture = 5
Since area of a square = side * side
Area of the frame = (area of the enclosed square space by the outer edges of the frame) - (area of square space enclosed by the inner edges of the frame)
\(= (5+2+2)^2 - 25\)
\(= 9^2 - 5^2\)
\(= 81-25\)
\(= 56\)
Where 2 is width of the frame surrounding the square picture.
therefore the answer is Option C

Square pitch side = √25 = 5
Frame Area = External square - Internal Square
=> FA = (5+4)^2 - 5^2
=9^2 - 5^2
= 14 * 4
= 56
