Solution-
Dhimiti=x dollars
Gaby=x+12 dollars
Mahiti=2(x+12) dollars.
=x+x+12+2(x+12)=60
=4x+36=60
=4x=24
=x=6
Total Gaby =$ 18

Solution-
Dhimiti=x dollars
Gaby=x+12 dollars
Mahiti=2(x+12) dollars.
=x+x+12+2(x+12)=60

But the question is "what were Gaby's total dollar winnings?"

Since she started with $20 and ended up with $18, the answer is -2 (Option B) IMO

At the end of the game, G=D+12
G=M/2

At the start of the game, total was 60. G+M+D=60
G+2G+G-12=60
4G=60+12=72
G=18

So G had started with 20$ and ended with 18$.
Total winnings= 18-20=-2$
Option B IMO

X is equal to 6, and gabby is x plus 12 which is 18. But, each player came in at 20$ and hence she is technically at a loss of two dollars.
