Consider root(1/5), root(1/3) and root(1/2) as 3 separate quantities

Since 1/5 < 1/3 < 1/2 then the order of roots is root(1/5) < root(1/3) < root (1/2).

Lets assume;
root(1/5) = S (Small)
root(1/3) = M (Medium)
root(1/5) = L (Large)

Now;
a = S + M - L
b = S - M + L
c = -S + M + L

Hence, a < b < c
