Giancarlo takes four tests. If the average (arithmetic mean) score for the first three of those tests is 100 and the average for all four tests is 75, what was his score for the 4th test?

\(a + b + c = 300\) (As 300 = 100*3 ; Total Score)
\(a + b + c + d = 300\) (As 300 = 75*4 ; Total Score)
In \(a + b + c + d = 300\) replace \(a + b + c = 300\)
Hence, \(300 + d = 300\)
Thus, \(d = 0\), Answer must be (A) 0

(T1+T2+T3)/3=100--- T1+T2+T3=3*100---- T1+T2+T3=300
Average of 4 test= 75
(T1+T2+T3+T4)/4=75------ T1+T2+T3+T4=4*75------- T1+T2+T3+T4=300
T1+T2+T3=300, so 300+T4=300---- T4=300-300-----T4=0
