To solve this question what I did,

Surface area of cube = sum of the area of all 6 faces on a cube
Let’s say area of each face is X
So 6X = 24
Divide both sides by 6
X=4

Now to find the length of one edge of the cube we know that one face ( a square) has an area of 4
So square root of 4 = 2 ( we do square root as both sides of a square are equal)
One edge = 2
There are total 12 edges in a cube so 2*12 = 24
Answer = B
