The answer is (B).

a = 1.2b
--> (a - b)/(a + b) = 0.2b/2.2b = 1/11

Hi!
Could you please elaborate on how you landed on 0.2/2.2b?
Thanks

Posted from my mobile device

He substituted a = 1.2b from the first formula in a in the second.
So: (a - b) -> (1.2b - b) = 0.2b and (a + b) -> (1.2b + b) = 2.2b resulting in 0.2b/2.2b

Much easier : 1.2 = 6*0.2 = 6/5 then a can be 6 and b 5. Then (6-5) / (6+5) = 1/11
