Old Efficiency = 30 mpg
New Efficiency = 45 mpg
Plug the values into the formula:
Percentage Increase = ((45 - 30) / 30) * 100%
= (15 / 30) * 100%
= 0.5 * 100%
= 50%
So, the fuel efficiency of the car increased by 50%.
