IMO B

Ratio of C:G:N is 1:2:3

x(1.25)+2x(0.35)+3x(0.5) = Total Sales

Total sales = 3.45x

Since x need to be an integer, it is possible only in case of I & II

[quote="Edoua"]Answer C

Pcoffee*Nc + Pgu* Ngu + Pnewsp*Nnews = Sales

For 1Nc we have 2Ngu and 3 Nnewsp
For 1Nc =x. Ngu = 2x and Nnewsp= 3x

1.25x + 2*0.35*x + 3* 0.5 *x = Sales

x(3.45) =Sales

For x =17 Sales =58.65
x=100 Sales= 345.00

Answer is B ( I + II only)

Cups of coffee (C) = x ; Total cost of coffee = (Cost of 1 cup) x (No. of cups) = 1.25x

Packs of gums (G) = 2 x C = 2x; Total cost of gums = (Cost of 1 pack) x (No. of packs) = 0.35 x 2x = 0.7x

Newspapers (N) = 3 x C = 3x; Total cost of gums = (Cost of 1 qty) x (No. of newspapers) = 0.5 x 3x = 1.5x

Total sales for the day = 1.25x + 0.7x + 1.5x = 3.45 x

Hence the total sales from the given options should be a multiple of 3.45 since 'x' is the count of cups of coffee and it has to be an integer.
Thus options I & II are divisible by 3.45 hence answer is B
