In the sequence of 5 places, we choose 3 positions out of 5 for A, B, and C.
5c3 = 10
Now, these 3 positions can not be arranged and will follow the order of A, B and C.
For remaining 2 positions, we have 2 choices = 2 ways
Total = 10*2 =20

Without restriction five places can be visited:
5! = 120 ways
But this allows for ABC to be arranged:
3! = 6 ways
But only one way is permitted and, since we're dealing with multiplication, our result is:
120/6 = 20

I solved it like this:
ABC combined in this order with other 2 arrangements: 3! = 6ways
AB_C an be arranged in 6 ways: _AB_C , AB_ _C , AB_C_ =6 ways
Similarly, A_BC_ can be visited in 6 ways.
Lastly, A_B_C by 2 ways.
Adding, we get 20.
