At the third stop, one person exits and one person remains in the bus. So, there are 2 people in the bus at the third stop. At each stop half the people exits the bus.
\(3^{rd}\) stop - \(2\)
\(2^{nd}\) stop - \(2*2=4\)
\(1^{st}\) stop - \(4*2=8\)
Answer: C
