The price of the two qualities of flax seed are $1 and $5.

The quantities are x and y respectively.

120 pounds is the total quantity, but the profit is $0.5 per pound.

For 120 pounds the profit is 120* $0.5 = $60

The 25% of investment is $60.

Thus, the investment = $60*4 = $240.

For 120 pounds, we have invested $240.

Per pound price is $240/120 = $2.

$1. $5.

.$2

x. y.

x = 3 and y = 1

4a = 120, then a =30.

Quantity of flax seed costing $5 per pound = 30 .

Option B
