In Carleton, there are two hotels - Hotel Bellevue (HB) and Hotel Riviera (HR).
The hotel offers two rooms, Regular and Deluxe.
The price of regular room is $145 per night.
The price of deluxe room is $ 205 per night.
The two rooms are mentioned to be same. Let’s assume it to be 5n
so, in HB, the number of Regular room : Deluxe room = 4n : n
In HR, the number of Regular room : Deluxe room = 3n : 2n
The total revenue from a night @
HR = 3n *145 + 2n *205 = 845n.
HB = 4n * 145 + n*205 = 785n.
The difference 845n - 785n = 60n
60n = 1080
n = 18
The number of regular rooms in HR. = 3n = 3*18 = 54.
